About Kim
Kim Perry is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Certified fitness instructor who provides integrative, mind-body therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Kim earned her Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island and her Master’s in Social Work from Boston College, specializing in Clinical Mental Health. Her approach blends evidence-based psychotherapy with holistic practices, including yoga, mindfulness, grounding coping strategies, to support emotional balance, resilience, and overall well-being.
Kim’s work is rooted in a client-centered, trauma-informed, and family systems perspective. She utilizes a range of evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and family systems work. She incorporates practical coping skills—such as mindfulness, grounding, emotional regulation, and breath-work—to help clients apply therapeutic tools in their everyday lives.
Kim believes therapy is a collaborative and empowering process. She creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, build insight, and develop meaningful, lasting change. She is dedicated to helping clients strengthen their sense of self, improve relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
